• Automation and Bots: Use bots, scripts, macros, automated tools, coordinated accounts, or any other deceptive or non-human means to interact with, manipulate, exploit, or abuse the Platform or any of its features.
• Harassment and Abuse: Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or otherwise harm other users of Azure Chronicles.
• Spam and Manipulation: Post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or manipulate ratings, votes, comments, or any community features through artificial or deceptive means.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of Azure Chronicles — such as saving reading progress, building your personal tier list, earning XP, or participating in community features — you must create a registered account.

When creating and maintaining your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information at the time of registration and keep that information up to date.
• Choose a strong, unique password and keep it confidential. You must not share your credentials with any third party.
• Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
• Notify Azure Chronicles immediately at azurechroniclesofficial@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Azure Chronicles reserves the right to refuse registration, cancel accounts, or remove usernames at our sole discretion, particularly where usernames are offensive, impersonate others, or violate these Terms.

4. Content on the Platform

Azure Chronicles is a reading platform that hosts translated novels for the entertainment of our community. We do not claim ownership of any original literary works displayed on the Platform. All rights to original works remain with their respective creators, publishers, and copyright holders.

If you believe that any content hosted on Azure Chronicles infringes upon your intellectual property rights, please refer to our DMCA Policy for the appropriate process to submit a takedown request. We take all such reports seriously and will act promptly in accordance with applicable law.

Any content you submit to the Platform — including comments, reviews, ratings, and tier list entries — remains your responsibility. By submitting content, you grant Azure Chronicles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and moderate that content in connection with the operation of the Platform. You represent and warrant that your submitted content does not violate the rights of any third party.

5. Virtual Currency, Coins, and Premium Features

Azure Chronicles may offer virtual currency ("Coins"), premium subscriptions, or other paid features that unlock additional content or functionality. By purchasing or using any such features, you agree to the following:

• All purchases of Coins or premium access are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
• Virtual currency and premium benefits have no real-world monetary value and may not be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
• Azure Chronicles reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any premium feature or pricing at any time, with reasonable advance notice where practicable.
• Any Coins or premium benefits associated with a terminated or suspended account are forfeited without compensation.

6. Termination and Enforcement

Azure Chronicles reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms, conduct that we determine — in our sole discretion — is harmful to the Platform, its users, or its reputation.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — shall remain in full force and effect.

7. Disclaimers

Azure Chronicles is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content available on the Platform.

Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Azure Chronicles expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Azure Chronicles and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or service interruptions — even if Azure Chronicles has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall the total aggregate liability of Azure Chronicles to you for any claims arising under these Terms exceed the amount you paid to Azure Chronicles, if any, in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Your use of Azure Chronicles is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
